“At NRG, you can form an objective opinion about nuclear energy."

‘Working with nuclear technology at this level is a real intellectual challenge. Technical knowledge, rules and regulations, analytical skills and logical thinking meet each other here. It is my goal to reach a better understanding of the safety and possibilities of nuclear energy. Before I started working here, I only knew the Greenpeace and WISE websites on the one hand, and books like “A Case for Nuclear-Generated Electricity” on the other. As a layperson, I could not decide what to believe. At NRG, I can really delve into this material. I work three days at Borssele, and two days in Arnhem as a consultant. In addition to Zeeland and Arnhem, I am in contact with Finland regularly. They have a brand new reactor with a modern digital security system. I am paying close attention, so that we will be able to apply the technology in the Netherlands in the future.’
