“Where else would you get so much room to work on innovations?”
'The best part of my job? That would be solving puzzles. In my role as team manager, I am always involved with contextual thinking. Personal initiative is very important here. I was given all the room I needed to develop new software. This resulted in SOSA: a computer code that calculates how to replace nuclear fuel elements as quickly as possible. An idea that resulted in innovation! I also enjoy collaborating with my colleagues. It is not only the bosses in Arnhem that make this environment so pleasant. A lot has changed in the past few years. The market requires more attention these days, both nationally and internationally. For example, we are performing a safety analysis for a new reactor together with the German company Areva. Recently we visited four of our clients in the USA. So if you like to see the world as well as working hard, NRG is the place for you.'
